Mark Sanderson

Mark has been the Managing Director of Smallacombe Sanderson for 20 years. He has been involved in the Real Estate Industry for 23 years and prior to that held a senior position in the Banking industry. He has applied the knowledge and experience gained from that time to his career in real estate, passing on the benefits to his clients.

Mark Sanderson has been Auctioneering for 22 years and it has become his ‘forte’ achieving numerous awards, 2 major awards being – Master Auctioneer for the Eastern suburbs and State Finalist in the Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers Golden Gavel Awards.

Mark is South Australia’s only member of the National Association of Realtors, the world’s largest Real Estate organisation.

Mark has been a member of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia’s board since 2002. He has also been the South Australian representative on the National Board since 2003 – 2005 and 2007 to current. Mark was President of the REISA from 2005 to 2007. During this time, Mark was heavily involved in negotiating the new legislation and in particular, making the industry compliant with the new laws. During his Presidential term, Mark introduced a new Code of Conduct for all real estate practitioners which delivers benchmarks for service and integrity. One of his greatest achievements is bringing an end to bait pricing (also referred to as under quoting).
